Welcome to the Heritage North Museum

Heritage North Museum acknowledges and respects that our facility is located on Treaty Five, the traditional Territory of Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation and the traditional homeland of the Metis people.

Our museum features two log structures and an open-air blacksmith shop, as seen in our photo gallery of the exterior. Inside, you’ll find Institutional Archives, a gift shop with locally sourced goods and art, and a visitor information booth.

Explore our Exhibits and Dioramas photo galleries to see samples of animals native to the area, a boreal forest diorama, fossils, and First Nation and fur trade artifacts, including an authentic caribou hide tipi. Discover mining artifacts in The Annex photo gallery.
